Mag/Phos Booster contains 12% Magnesium which will help prevent staggers in sheep.
Sheep need a continuous supply of magnesium as they cannot store it in their system and yet it is an essential element that is involved in many energy-generating reactions in their tissues.
Deficiency is most common 4 to 6 weeks after lambing when deficient animals show very characteristic symptoms including uncoordinated walking, trembling.
Contains a suitable amount of Phosphorus to help maintain fertility in your stock.
Calcium which will assist in bone growth in lamb and young stock. During pregnancy and the first few weeks of life the lamb is entirely dependent on the ewe to provide calcium to build strong bones.
The peak demand for calcium by the lamb is at 10 days of age, but that demand on the ewe steadily increases from midway through pregnancy, as the lamb’s bones begin to develop. Inadequate calcium supply by a ewe to her lamb means the lamb has lower bone calcium stores.
